- Working a shitload. So much. So, so much. That's okay. Started a business developing websites and such. Currently working on a project for a mining company building scientific calculation software for them. That's fun and mindbogglingly scary at the same time. It's okay though, $$$!

- Blew my computer up. I suspect a faulty CPU was responsible, being that the socket literally melted out of the motherboard. Got a new one on the build - Core i5 750, 8GB GSkill DDR-3 1600, screamer of a Gigabyte mobo (can't remember the model, but it's one of the top-o'-the-class ones we can get for 1156), crossfired 1GB XFX 5770s, Windows 7 x64 (I actually bought a copy of Windows, the world is ending!!), all the other faffery. I guess this means I should actually be able to play games now, even if I'll just end up playing shit from like 2003 like I always have. Decided on the 750 based on its benchmarks and its price. It benches like a madman (nearly on par with the i7 870) and is somehow a good $450 cheaper than anything better than it. I'm astounded at this processor in so many ways. Still waiting on the second 4GB of RAM and the 5770s, but right now I'm content with my rig.

- Heading back overseas sometime. Lots to plan. Lots and lots. Considering the UK this time, and then spending a lot of well-earned time in the US.

- Spend most of my free time immersed in salt water. Not in the ocean, in my bedroom. Reefkeeping is a monstrously expensive and time-consuming hobby, but at the end of the day it's worth it in many ways.

- Single and hating it. I need a goddamn hug. HALP.
